 PhD obtained!

I am delighted to announce that I have obtained my PhD in Epidemiology!  The defense of my thesis was a particularly enriching moment, filled with exchanges with the numerous jury members. Their expertise, pertinent questions, and congratulations made this moment even more memorable.

These three years have been a wonderful scientific adventure, full of challenges and new experiences. I managed R and became a fan, who would have thought! I hope our wind dispersal modelling results have helped answer many of the questions we all have about the introductions and reintroductions of bluetongue and  in Europe.

It was also, and above all, a magnificent human adventure where I had the opportunity to meet many actors from public research teams and public institutions. I would like to warmly thank all the people who helped, guided, and supported me, near or far, during these three years.

A special warm thanks to my three supervisors: Karine CHALVET-MONFRAY, Thibaud Porphyre, and Albert Picado. A huge thank you also to Davide Martinetti from BioSP, my colleagues at Boehringer Ingelheim, the Unité d'épidémiologie des maladies animales et zoonotiques (EPIA, INRAE-VetAgro Sup) of VetAgro Sup, and the LBBE.
Your expertise, advice, and support were essential in achieving this goal.

I will now continue to work as an epidemiologist in the fight against high-impact diseases in livestock, to better adapt our future vaccines to the needs of the field.
