New Datapaper

The data paper presents a data set on the abundance of Ixodes spp. ticks using the cloth-dragging method in forests across Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in France. Ixodes ricinus ticks are major vectors of human and livestock pathogens and responsible for the transmission of the agent Lyme disease. It details a tick sampling protocol for estimating the sampling rate, the sampling method and the abundance levels studied. It provides associated environmental data to better understand their distributions and associated risks. This valuable resource aids ecological and public health studies on tick-borne diseases.
